When you come down to the woods today you’re sure of a big surprise! Bring your favourite friend for an exciting adventure.

To celebrate National Playday we are inviting you to let your imagination run wild! 

Playday is the national day for play, celebrated each year across the UK on the first Wednesday in August.

The theme for this year’s Playday is …

Playing on a shoestring – making every day an adventure.

We have a specially designed day of low-cost play adventures that children can enjoy in our wonderful woodland setting.  A full range of nature inspired stalls and activities will be available throughout the day with more details to follow.

Included in your donation is the Queenswood ‘Bears, Beasts and Tales’ Summer Story Trail, complete the activity and design your very own fairy tale to treasure forever.

We want to make this day accessible to everyone and are suggesting a small donation to attend. If you can contribute a little extra, you will be helping other children to enjoy the experience. Pre-booking is advised and wrist bands will be available to collect on the day.

If you are unable to make the suggested minimum donation, please contact the event organiser about our ‘pay it forward’ scheme.
