Adopt a Tree

Adopting a tree at Queenswood

Whatever your reason for adopting a tree – whether it is to celebrate a birth, christening, a special birthday present, a wedding anniversary, a milestone for your club or organisation or as a memorial tree to celebrate the life of a loved one – Queenswood Arboretum has a wide range of trees to suit every occasion.

The cost of adopting a memorial tree is £250 (for either a newly planted tree or an existing mature specimen).

This price includes an adoption post and plaque and an entry in the Queenswood tree database. We now also include ‘The Tree Guarantee’.

What Type of Tree can I Adopt?

Queenswood is a maturing arboretum and so fewer new trees are now planted each year. This is to allow the older specimens space to flourish and achieve their potential.

At Queenswood you can choose to adopt a mature tree or one of the recently planted specimens. If you have a preference for a certain species of tree then we will do our best to assist you.

If you are unsure then we can guide you through the process and come up with suggestions for suitable trees.

The Queenswood Tree Finder database and tree map is now online so you will be able to easily search for and find your adopted tree. You can also use the Queenswood Tree Map to look for an existing tree of a particular species, or in a specific location, that is available to adopt.
