We aim to make Queenswood as accessible as possible to as many visitors as possible. Accessible facilities are detailed below but we would be keen to hear of other facilities or improvements you would like to see on the site. Please get in touch using the button below.
Accessibility at Queenswood
There are a number of easy access paths with hard surfaces and no steps within the Arboretum. So, those with limited mobility or using electric mobility vehicles (EMVs) can enjoy a circular walk.
Please help us raise funds to buy a new electric mobility vehicle to improve accessibility for visitors to Queenswood by donating here.
The car park includes a limited number of spaces reserved for Blue Badge holders. If these are full, Blue badge holders may also park for free in any parking space. However, you MUST register on arrival at the Visitor Centre (open daily between 10:30-3:30pm) in order to park for free.
Alternatively, why not register for up to a year for freedom to visit at any time without charge. This is valid for Herefordshire Council Blue Badge holders only and is available from the Visitor Centre.
Full Visitor Centre opening times:
10am-4pm: Every day during Herefordshire school holidays, at weekends and on bank holidays
10:30-3:30pm: On weekdays outside of Herefordshire school holidays

We have an accessible toilet which is open between 9am and 4pm everyday except Christmas Day. This toilet also contains our baby changing facilities.
We design our school and family activities to be inclusive of all, regardless of ability. Therefore, please contact us if you would like to discuss specific accessibility requirements.
