The Visitor Centre and Gift Shop are open every day except Monday, from 10 am to 4 pm
The Old Tannery building houses the visitor centre and Herefordshire Wildlife Trust shop staffed by a fantastic team of volunteers. Proceeds from the shop go to Herefordshire Wildlife Trust to support our work across the county. Click here to find out more about Herefordshire Wildlife Trust.
The shop is staffed by volunteers and has vacancies, so if you're interested in helping out at the shop, please click here for further information.
We worked with local organisation The Houghton Project on the refurbishment and the shop stocks locally produced and hand-crafted items.
What's in store?
We've packed the shop full of gorgeous gifts (on a wildlife theme, of course!), the best in contemporary nature writing, a wide range of children's books and toys (with some great things for little wildlife explorers!), bird feeders and bird food to create your own wildlife haven at home and lots more!

Risbury Rapeseed Oil
Risbury Rapeseed Oil is the result of a real family effort. From their farm in Risbury, Herefordshire, the family look after the cold-pressing, filtering and bottling, while the rapeseed is grown a few miles away. Their oils have a high smoke point and are rich in Omega 3. All of which means they're fantastic for frying, roasting and baking, and delightful in dressings and marinades.
