Queenswood Country Park was the venue for a very special celebration last Saturday marking the eightieth anniversary of the gifting of the site to the people of Herefordshire.

Work has begun to install a traffic island on the A49 by Queenswood Country Park to enable bus passengers to safely cross the road to get to the bus stop on the opposite side.
Go Toads! Community Project set for success after receiving a Heritage Lottery Fund Sharing Heritage grant of £9,800

Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, Herefordshire Amphibian & Reptile Team and St Michaels’s CE Primary School have received a Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) Sharing Heritage1 grant to help save toads around Bodenham. The project aims to involve communities around Bodenham Lake to protect the local population of this often overlooked species.
